Mayer Consultants’ owner, Ann Mayer, has a depth of experience in Contact Centre consulting that would be hard to match, bringing more than 40 years of international telemarketing experience to her role. She is passionate about what she does, and loves to see her trainees gain confidence and succeed in their areas of speciality.

A few of Ann’s considerable achievements are listed below:
  • Author of the book “Telemarketing in New Zealand,” 1992, Reed Books.
  • Consultant on the Melrose Films Training Video, “Controlling the Telephone Call.”
  • Instigator, and one of the writers and developers of the Certificate of Contact Centre Management Programme run by the New Zealand Direct Marketing Association. Ann also assisted in presenting this programme for 9 years.
  • Technical Editor for the Open Polytechnic programme on Contact Centre Leadership.
  • Workplace assessor for the National Certificate of Contact Centre Operations.
  • Judged by her peers in the Association of Training and Development as an outstanding trainer who is highly experienced in her field.
  • One of the founders of Startel Communications, the first inbound / outbound outsourcing call centre in New Zealand.
  • Recognised as New Zealand’s leading authority in her role as both Contact Centre consultant and trainer.
